The Meal Begins With a walk under a canopy of bamboo, to beat of a going and a greeting of welcome in japanese. gonbei is the only japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur to have a robatayaki counter, where dinner take pick of the fresh fish and seafood, then have these cooked by the chef. The fish is flown in daily from the Tsukiji wholesale market in Tokyo.
